We have a conscience.
Our Social Responsibilities Programme and Charity Policies keep us involved with the community and in touch with life outside work. We believe businesses that don't have a similar outlook, don't have a conscience.
Culturally, our workplace practices are focused on everyone benefiting from a good work/life balance and we've adopted 'best practice' systems for staff training and development.
Whilst we revel in delivering fantastic results for our clients, we don't lose sight of the fact that there is life outside work- and it's there to be enjoyed. So if our business resources can help others enjoy life too, then we're happy to put them to work.
Black Pig is a champion of 'The Paper', a newspaper produced by young people for young people. With its eighth edition now in print the project has gone from strength to strength, scooping 'Best Student Publication' two years running at the prestigious Communicators in Business (CiB) Awards.
We also strongly support community and education based projects which have included the Cambridge Science Festival, an annual celebration of science and maths, and Inspiration for Life, an organisation who organise motivational conferences for gifted and talented students.
Black Pig is committed to aiding the development of young people and aims to broaden their horizons to career options by dedicating time to educational establishments in the guise of career talks, work experience, internships and its own annual award scheme for students; the Black Pig Creative Award.
Black Pig has been involved with Q103 Kids since 2002. Q103 Kids is a registered charity.
which has been running for over 10 years - in that time, over £200,000 has been raised and distributed to community projects ranging from the purchase of minibuses for the disabled to funding play equipment for disadvantaged children. The charity's aims are simple: to assist community projects and people by offering support, expertise and influence.
