Black Pig's brief was to help boost sales and raise the profile of the first stage of the development and Bradgate locally. The Riverside Living project plans to drastically redevelop Wickford with a vibrant location by enhancing the River Crouch by raising the water level and creating new cycle paths and walkways along the river's edge. 173 high quality residential units will also be built along with a pedestrian friendly 'Piazza style' area with commercial space for bars and restaurants. The whole area will benefit from improved lighting and CCTV surveillance to create a safer and more attractive 'gateway' into Wickford town centre.
Working at a strategic level of design Black Pig developed two sub-brands for the two phases of the Riverside Living project that encompassed the essence of the scheme whilst maintaining consistency with the parent brand. Within a fortnight of Black Pig's PR and advertising campaign, sales had increased by 400%.
