Back To Case StudiesFox International is the worlds leading carp and specialist angling equipment supplier. With over 1,000 trade accounts across the UK, the company wanted a user-friendly online ordering system to allow dealers to place orders as well as view invoices and previous transactions.
Enabling an online ordering service has streamlined Fox International’s ordering process; representatives from Fox are now able to visit angling dealers with a GPRS enabled laptop and place orders directly through the extranet, these orders are then transmitted and printed out in Fox’s warehouse for distribution in a matter of minutes. The new and improved process makes ordering and reordering much easier and most importantly faster. Black Pig has had reports of a Fox representative taking an order at a customers shop at 10:15am and by 10:30am the invoice printed out in their offices and warehouse for the order to be packed and sent without any other human intervention.
Automated online sales ordering systems, like the one designed for Fox International by Black Pig, has the benefit that once the textual content is translated the functions of the site work exactly the same as they would in the original language. This feature is especially well suited to Fox’s needs as they continue expanding into Europe and Black Pig were able to supply the company with additional French, German, Italian and Dutch language sites.
