With offices in Norwich, Chippenham, Welwyn Garden City and Dublin, Pinnacle Consulting Engineers are a leading provider of construction related services from project inception through to completion.

Pinnacle approached Black Pig to carry out a complete rebranding exercise for the company. They were carrying out a large amount of work for one major blue chip client and wanted to widen their customer base. The project began with a branding and marketing workshop conducted by the creative team at Black Pig. From this a design brief was created and a number of brand identity options presented which would better position Pinnacle as an innovative, approachable and cutting edge organisation.

An eye-catching vertically orientated logo was finally chosen. It included a new softer corporate colour pallette and a feature letter 'A' styled to tie in with the company name. As part of the re-brand Black Pig developed the accompanying strapline "Advice You Can Build On" which the client was delighted with to the point that they decided to adopt www.adviceyoucanbuildon.co.uk as their website and email addresses.

The new brand identity was then rolled out across a wide range of marketing materials which Black Pig designed. These included business stationery, report covers and electronic templates, an email marketing template, powerpoint template, print adverts and an animated screensaver. Our copywriting team also wrote up key case studies. We undertook a comprehensive program of on site photography to create an image library to accompany these. Several photography styles were researched and considered and a particularly individual style was selected, showing the construction work and buildings which Pinnacle have worked on at unusual and intriguing angles. Black Pig also designed and built a new website which incorporated flash movies showcasing the new photography. The site is fully content managed allowing Pinnacle to update it in house.

Following this project we undertook a program of PR to help Pinnacle promote their new brand.
