The charity manages 125 nature reserves covering 3,336 hectares of land and aims to conserve local wildlife and landscapes whilst encouraging others to do the same. Beginning with a comprehensive consultation with the Trust stakeholders Black Pig created a refreshed brand identity and visualized how this could be applied to the Wildlife Trust’s on and offline communications.

In conjunction with the client’s ideas we developed a game where the user had to identify matching components travelling on two conveyor belts and grab and discard any non-matching components. Progressing through a series of ever faster conveyor belts the game is a fun way to promote the product and includes a highest scoreboard for the more competitive players!

Specialist sheet metal fabricators FSM came to Black Pig to help them refresh their brand and design a range of new marketing collateral including a new website. Keen to highlight their heritage and commitment to quality, the new brand included a strapline ‘Made in England’ which was carried across the collateral. This included stationery, exhibition panels and brochures. The website was built with an easy to use content management system allowing FSM to keep it regularly updated.

iPhone and Android apps are very much in the news at the moment and rightly so. Black Pig has produced apps for its clients and is currently working with a number of clients on developing apps which augment their business models. The challenge with the creation of an app is as much one of developing the strategic thinking to underpin it, as it is having the technical capability to develop and integrate it with your other digital marketing systems, and in the case of the iPhone we also have to navigate through the process to have it approved by Apple. If you are thinking about the technology, get in touch, we are happy to talk about the relevance of the technology to your business and give you some indicative costs that could help your internal decision making and budgeting process.

Ed Byrne provided the voice for the new Black Pig radio commercials. It was great to be able to work with such a well established and talented performer in preparing the Black Pig radio ads for this year. We are confident that Ed will give us the continuing kind of cut through for our advertising which has been its main strength over the years. Ed was a pleasure to work with and we feel he has really moved the advertising theme on to a new level from our previous work with Clive Anderson and David Mitchell. Comedy itself has moved on a great deal in the last decade and we feel that in the right advertising application it really does grab the audience’s attention.
