Touchbase, a division of Whitbread Plc, operates purpose-built business centres situated adjacent to some of its busiest Travel Inns across the UK. Black Pig was approached to develop a comprehensive brand communications program and to identify ways to support the growth of the business within its key markets.
Its proposals focused on direct marketing to communicate on a one-to-one basis with key decision makers, mainly senior PA's and Office Managers responsible for booking this type of facility.
In addition, a full suite of supporting literature was developed to compliment the positioning of 'Fresh Thinking in Meetings and Business'. Materials included overview folders, handy credit-card sized location guides to assist busy business people on the move and site specific promotions in support of marketing events taking place. Black Pig brought the brand to life on the web with a newly designed website which reflects the refreshing experience the Touchbase brand embodies.
Black Pig’s integrated approach enabled it to produce a range of marketing communications devices including comprehensive website, interactive showcase DVD, promotional items and public relations activity.
Black Pig also undertook the relaunch of the Heathrow Touchbase centre after refurbishment from flooding. A real buzz was created around the opening by bringing in retired athlete, now motivational speaker Kriss Akabusi to provide a keynote speech alongside the business networking event which allowed Touchbase to demonstrate just what the centre can offer.
