Back To Case StudiesIssued by the Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change (an initiative developed by the University of Cambridge Programme for Industry), the Poznan Communiqué unites 140 global business leaders all demanding action on climate change. The release of the Communiqué was timed to coincide with The United Nations Conference on Climate Change taking place in Poznan, Poland, in December 2008, and it aimed to build on the Bali Communiqué which was issued by the Group during last year’s conference.
Black Pig had designed a double page spread press advertisement for the Bali Communiqué which appeared in The Financial Times, and this year we were approached again, this time to design a press advertisement, a printed brochure for conference delegates and a website.
The challenge of this project was the very tight timescale involved for both the website and printed materials. Thanks to some intensive efforts by both our graphic design and web teams, both the brochure and press advertisement were designed and laid out with the full set of over 140 signatory logos within a matter of days, and the website was designed, built and ready to go live little more than a week after we were awarded the project. Black Pig also ensured that any updates, such as new signatory logos, were uploaded to the site as speedily as possible to keep the site current for the duration of the conference.
